Basketball Game Preview: Allen East Mustangs vs. Bath Wildcats

The Allen East Mustangs will take on the Bath Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Friday, Allen East came up short against Spencerville and fell 55-46. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Bearcats are ranked 12th).

Meanwhile, Bath lost to Defiance on the road by a 57-39 margin on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Allen East's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Bath, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Allen East was able to grind out a solid win over Bath when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 66-55. Does Allen East have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bath turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
