Basketball Recap: Chilhowee Comes Up Short

Chilhowee lost against La Monte back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. 2025 welcomed the Chilhowee Indians with a 51-30 loss courtesy of the La Monte Vikings. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chilhowee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for La Monte, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chilhowee will square off against Northeast Vernon County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for La Monte, they will take on Plaza Heights Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Plaza Heights Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.9 points per game this season.
