Legacy took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Dakota Ridge, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lightning came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles on Friday, sneaking past 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Lightning: when they faced off against the Eagles last Thursday, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Aislin Oldach paced Legacy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Oldach got some help from Emma Gray and her 18 assists. Finally, Oldach was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

The victory made it two in a row for Legacy and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for Dakota Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.

Legacy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Heritage on the 30th. As for Dakota Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Fort Collins on the 30th.
