Hampden and Bangor are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. Hampden's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Henry Armell, who went 1-for-3 with one run. Logan Powers also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Bangor never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past Brewer 13-0. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won three matchups by 13 runs or more so far this season.

Hampden's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Bangor, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-1.
