Newell-Fonda not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the South Central Calhoun Titans as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Newell-Fonda's got stronger as the match went on, holding South Central Calhoun to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-11.

Newell-Fonda's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for South Central Calhoun, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Coincidentally, Newell-Fonda and South Central Calhoun will both be playing Sioux Central the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Rebels at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
