St. Vincent de Paul had to endure  an  11-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  5-4  win over the St. Bernard's Crusaders  on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Will Hankins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on ten hits.
 At the plate,  Omar Mughannam was  excellent,  going 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and two  runs. Those  two  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high.  Tyler Chelew also deserves some recognition as  he  scored his first  run of the season.
St. Vincent de Paul's record is now 3-13. As for St. Bernard's,  with the  defeat, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-4.
