Azle Christian extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Grayson Smith. The Fighting Crusaders claimed a resounding 51-0 win over the Temple Christian Eagles for which the team can thank Smith, who picked up 78 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 70 yards and two TDs. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up two sacks, forcing one fumble, and making 12 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Azle Christian's defense made their presence known, laying out Miles Page three times. In that department, Smith was the leader with two sacks.

Azle Christian's record is now 4-1. As for Temple Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Azle Christian has already played their next contest, a 56-6 victory against Round Rock Christian Academy on the 3rd. As for Temple Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 68-0 defeat against Vanguard College Prep on the 2nd.
