Volleyball Recap: Ella Malm and Jordan Belles Secure Win for Mountain Crest

Mountain Crest won the last time they faced Tooele and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Buffaloes. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

The final score came out to 25-10, 20-25, 25-16, 25-13.

Mountain Crest was led to victory by Jordan Belles and Ella Malm. Belles had 13 digs and three aces, while Malm had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces Belles has posted over her last seven matchups.

They weren't the only good servers: Mountain Crest was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matches.

Mountain Crest's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Tooele, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-17.
