Softball Preview: Globe Tigers vs. Ray Bearcats
The Globe Tigers will take on the Ray Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Globe will be strutting in after a win while Ray will be coming in after a loss.
On Wednesday, Globe was able to grind out a solid victory over Florence, taking the game 14-10. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.
Zoey Tulk made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and seven unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
