Volleyball Recap: Tri-City Tornadoes vs. Central A & M Raiders
Tri-City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central A & M Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tornadoes of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Tri-City was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. After all that action, the final score was 25-22, 26-24.
Tri-City's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Central A & M, the win snapped their losing streak at 13 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-6 record.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Unity Christian the next time they take the court. Tri-City will head out to face Unity Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Central A & M will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
