Softball Recap: 15 Straight Home Victories for Cedar Park Christian

Cedar Park Christian has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They walked away with a 14-10 victory over the Lynden Christian Lyncs. The win was just business as usual for the Eagles, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

Gianna Charlton was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. Charlton was also big at the plate, scoring two runs.

In other batting news, Jana Alharbi was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Adelaide Foster, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5.

Cedar Park Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
