Baseball Game Preview: Saratoga Falcons vs. Cupertino Pioneers

Saratoga is 2-8 against Cupertino since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Falcons will be playing at home against the Pioneers at 4:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Saratoga fell victim to Santa Clara and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Bruins. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Cupertino also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Ann Sobrato on Saturday, falling 8-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Pioneers haven't been shut out since back in February.

Cupertino's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11-1. As for Saratoga, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.

Saratoga might still be hurting after the 9-1 defeat they got from Cupertino when the teams last played back in March. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
