Basketball Recap: Kalkaska Comes Up Short

Kalkaska lost against Grayling back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Kalkaska Blazers came up short against the Grayling Vikings, falling 44-24. The Blazers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Kalkaska's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Grayling, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Coming up, Kalkaska will face off against Buckley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grayling, they will welcome Charlevoix at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grayling is facing Charlevoix at the right time seeing as Charlevoix is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
