Volleyball Recap: Dripping Springs Comes Up Short

Dripping Springs lost against Harlan back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 2-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harlan was led to victory by Cheyenne Canche and Cecily Fernandez. Canche had five digs and three aces, while Fernandez had 16 digs. The dominant performance also gave Canche a new career-high in assists (five).

Dripping Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Harlan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Dripping Springs has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Manvel on the 16th. As for Harlan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Eagle Mountain on the 15th.
