Flag Football Recap: Folsom Takes a Loss

Folsom extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 32 on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-18. They were dealt a 56-13 defeat at the hands of the Rocklin Thunder. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 39-13 back in September.

As for Rocklin, the victory got them back to even at 10-10. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The critical scores for Rocklin came from Renee Dragseth, Kendal Linehan, Bella Morrison, Ashley Fuller, Skyler Linehan, Addison Titlow, Robyn Nguyen, and Heather Morton.

Folsom and Rocklin could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Bulldogs (ranked 599th) will meet Whitney (ranked 105th) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rocklin will take on Granite Bay at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (186 vs. 30).
