Basketball Recap: Liberty Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Colfax, Liberty was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They slipped by the Davenport Gorillas 70-69. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lancers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Liberty pushed their record up to 7-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points per game. As for Davenport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Liberty will welcome Asotin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Asotin will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Liberty surely won't give up without a fight. Davenport has already played their next matchup (against Chewelah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
