Baseball Recap: Kinnelon Comes Up Short

Kinnelon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Morris Hills Knights. The Colts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Kinnelon's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Morris Hills, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kinnelon will face off against Hanover Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Morris Hills, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Oratory Prep at 4:00 p.m.
