Flag Football Game Preview: Arvada West Wildcats vs. Regis Groff Fusion

The Arvada West Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Regis Groff Fusion at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arvada West is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

Arvada West is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Valor Christian, who was ranked ninth at the time (Arvada West was ranked second). The Wildcats came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 33-21 on Saturday.

Arvada West didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jocelyn Ayriss and Remy Erickson.

Meanwhile, Regis Groff unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against George Washington, falling 30-6. Having soared to a lofty 32 points in the game before, the Fusion couldn't push the score so high this time.

Regis Groff's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Arvada West, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
