Despite the loss, Chaffey saw an underclassman step up: Alexis Almeida rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
Even though they lost, Chaffey was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 366 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
The victory got Moreno Valley back to even at 2-2. As for Chaffey, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
