Soccer Game Preview: Bishop Moore vs. American Heritage

The Bishop Moore Hornets will head out on the road to take on the American Heritage Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bishop Moore comes in on six and American Heritage on 11.

Bishop Moore is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Bishop Kenny as Bishop Moore made off with a 4-1 win. Considering the Hornets have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Bishop Kenny with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sienna Rivera (2), Kennedy Boudreau, and Gabby Maddalena.

Meanwhile, American Heritage kept a clean sheet against Lemon Bay on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 7-0 margin over the Manta Rays. The Patriots' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last ten matchups.

American Heritage's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 56 goals over those eight games. As for Bishop Moore, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
