Soccer Preview: East vs. West        
        
		
            
 The East Leopards will head out on the road to  take on  the West Panthers at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. East is strutting in with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 3  goals per game this season.
 Last Friday, East faced Alta in a battle between two of the state's top teams. East fell just short of Alta by a score of  2-1. It was the first time  this season that East let down their fans at home.
 Their goal came courtesy  of 
 Owen Nance, who's now up to seven this season.
 Meanwhile, West had just enough and edged Highland out  2-1 last Friday. The  win was just what West needed coming off of  a  4-1 defeat in their prior  game.
 East's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 5-1. As for West,  the  victory  got them back to even at 3-3.
 East beat West 2-0  when the teams last played  back in April of 2019. The rematch might be a little tougher for East since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
