After a string of seven wins, Enterprise's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Resurrection Catholic Eagles by a score of 49-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Yellowjackets have suffered since February 13, 2024.

Resurrection Catholic found their leader in sophomore Simeon Ballard, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 boards. The matchup was Ballard's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Eric Fox was another key player, putting up five points.

Enterprise's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 16-10. As for Resurrection Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Lumberton the next time they take the court. Resurrection Catholic will host Lumberton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Enterprise will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
