It was a good run, but Owensboro unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren East Raiders. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Owensboro's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Warren East, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-6.

Looking ahead, Owensboro will host Apollo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warren East, they will take on Allen County-Scottsville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
