Lincoln entered their tilt with Buckhannon-Upshur on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Buccaneers. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 12-0 win the Buccaneers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Buckhannon-Upshur, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will face off against Grafton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bearcats will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Buckhannon-Upshur, they will venture away from home to square off against Elkins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
