Football Recap: Humphrey-Lindsay Bulldogs vs. Twin River Titans

Friday just wasn't the day for Humphrey-Lindsay's offense. They took a blow against the Twin River Titans on Friday, falling 40-0. The shutout was out of character for the Bulldogs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Gavin Friesen threw for 28 yards on two of 11 attempts. On the ground, Gavin Groteluschen rushed for 48 yards.

Paydon Rinkol continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Twin River, rushing for 230 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Rinkol also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making five total tackles (1.0 for loss). Adam Schroder was another key rusher, gaining 58 total yards and two touchdowns.

Humphrey-Lindsay is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. As for Twin River, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.
