Baseball Recap: Fisher Takes a Loss

Fisher was the 8-1 winner over Heritage when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Fisher fell just short of Heritage by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Bunnies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fisher saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesse Arndt, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Arndt also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Fisher's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Heritage, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fisher will host Hoopeston at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Heritage, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Neoga at 4:30 p.m.
