Baseball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Great Falls Red Devils, falling 18-3. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Columbia saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Courtnie Brown, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Great Falls now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coincidentally, Columbia and Great Falls will both be playing Richland Northeast the next time they take the field. Great Falls will head out to face Richland Northeast at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while Columbia will head out to face them at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday.
