Soccer Recap: Tri-Valley Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tri-Valley can now relate to. They fell just short of the Minersville Battlin' Miners by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. One reason for the loss might be Tri-Valley's aggressive play style: Cash Lucas and Tyler Mowery were both handed yellow cards.

Tri-Valley's goal came courtesy of Nathan Hillard, who's now up to 60 this season.

Tri-Valley's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Minersville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Tri-Valley nor Minersville have any future games scheduled.
