Basketball Recap: Sacred Heart Comes Up Short

Sacred Heart has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. The game between them and the Bracken Christian Warriors didn't end well, with the Sacred Heart Indians falling 52-33. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-29 last Tuesday.

It was another big night for Ethan Cruz, who went 10 of 18 en route to 27 points and eight boards for Bracken Christian. Cruz is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Parsons, who posted seven points and five rebounds.

Sacred Heart's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Bracken Christian, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 25-4.

Sacred Heart does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bracken Christian, they will square off against Heritage Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
