Woodland came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the McDonough Warhawks by a score of 2-0. While the Wolfpack didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Woodland took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12.

Woodland's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for McDonough, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Looking ahead, Woodland will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Jackson at 5:30 p.m. As for McDonough, they will challenge White County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
