Recap: Wabash Apaches vs. North Miami Warriors
The Wabash Apaches can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against North Miami by a score of 56-47. This was payback for Wabash, who suffered a 62-53 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Wabash's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaitlynn Honeycutt, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Kierra Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Wabash's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-11. As for North Miami, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Taylor the next time they take the court. North Miami will head out to face Taylor at 7:45 p.m. on Monday, while Wabash will host them at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
