Basketball Game Preview: Abingdon Falcons vs. Patrick Henry Rebels

The Abingdon Falcons will hit the road for the first time this season to take on the Patrick Henry Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Abingdon will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Pulaski County, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Abingdon came out on top against Pulaski County by a score of 75-64 on Monday.

Meanwhile, Patrick Henry took care of business in their home opener last Tuesday (and then some). They were the clear victor by a 70-44 margin over Twin Springs.

Abingdon now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Patrick Henry, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Everything came up roses for Abingdon against Patrick Henry when the teams last played back in November of 2018, as the squad secured a 66-35 win. Does Abingdon have another victory up their sleeve, or will Patrick Henry turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
