Softball Recap: Eminence Eels vs. Providence Cristo Rey Wolves
Eminence stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They never let the Providence Cristo Rey Wolves onto the board and left with a 12-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Eminence as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Bella Dittemore and Sophia Saucerman made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Dittemore pitched an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Saucerman kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. At the plate, Dittemore scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Saucerman scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
