Basketball Game Preview: North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers vs. Western Boone Stars

The North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers will take on the Western Boone Stars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North Montgomery is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Delphi Community by a score of 39-27.

Meanwhile, Western Boone had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past North Montgomery 37-34.

Western Boone's win came from a few key players North Montgomery will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ally Lewis, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Reagan, who posted eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Western Boone smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive games.

North Montgomery's record is now 15-9. As for Western Boone, their record now sits at 8-14.
