Baseball Recap: Pittsfield Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Pittsfield strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Northampton Blue Devils. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Generals also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Pittsfield's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Northampton, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
