Softball Game Preview: Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions vs. Father Ryan Irish

The Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions will face off against the Father Ryan Irish at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Christ Presbyterian Academy lost 14-4 to Davidson Academy on Friday.

Christ Presbyterian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leah Robinson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Father Ryan was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against Franklin Road Academy, falling 9-2.

Father Ryan now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Christ Presbyterian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Father Ryan when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 9-6. Will Christ Presbyterian Academy repeat their success, or does Father Ryan has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
