Volleyball Recap: East Helena Vigilantes vs. Ronan Chiefs
East Helena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of the Ronan Chiefs by a score of 1-0. The Vigilantes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chiefs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
The match came down to the wire multiple times:oneset needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 30-26.
East Helena's loss dropped their record down to 4-26-3. As for Ronan, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
East Helena wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Libby on the 19th. As for Ronan, they are on the road again on Tuesday to play Columbia Falls at 7:00 p.m.
