Volleyball Recap: Greater Johnstown Comes Up Short

Greater Johnstown lost against Central Cambria back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Trojans came up short against the Red Devils, falling 3-0.

Greater Johnstown was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-23, 25-14.

Greater Johnstown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-23. As for Central Cambria, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-4-1 record this season.

Greater Johnstown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against North Star on the 14th. As for Central Cambria, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Hollidaysburg on the 16th.
