Volleyball Recap: Lake Placid Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lake Placid was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Somerset College Prep Academy Spartans.

While Lake Placid was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Somerset College Prep Academy's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-20.

Lake Placid's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Lake Placid will take on Moore Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, they will challenge Treasure Coast at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
