Baseball Recap: Carman-Ainsworth Drops Season-High Score on Saginaw

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carman-Ainsworth). They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Saginaw Trojans on Monday. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Gavin Resterhouse, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Stephen Council, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Carman-Ainsworth's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Saginaw, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Carman-Ainsworth and Saginaw will both be playing Grand Blanc the next time they take the field. The Cavaliers will host the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
