Monrovia extended their winning streak  to 12  on Monday, bumping their season record up to 19-3 in the process. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   1-0 W against the San Marino Titans. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Titans  back in March, they had to take a  8-1  loss.
Monrovia got a great performance from  James Quesenbery as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over six innings pitched. Quesenbery has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances.

As for San Marino,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 16-6 record. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
 On San Marino's side,  JJ Wilson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up ten Ks.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Titans beat Monrovia by a score of  3-1 on Thursday.
