There's no place like home for Model Secondary School for the Deaf, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past the Burke Bengals 15-3 on Thursday. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 30-9 victory the Bengals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Model Secondary School for the Deaf got a massive performance out of Mirella Frijmersum-Di Pietro, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. Frijmersum-Di Pietro has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Valerin Connor was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
