Basketball Recap: River Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Prairie du Chien last Thursday, River Valley came back down to earth. The River Valley Blackhawks fell 67-54 to the Cuba City Cubans on Saturday.

River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Cuba City, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

While River Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
