Preview: Fayetteville Tigers vs. Giles County Bobcats
The Fayetteville Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Giles County Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
After a string of three wins, Fayetteville's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to Cascade 57-52.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Kaydan Parks, who scored 17 points. Elly Bain was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Giles County, who are still winless after their sixth match. They took a serious blow against Lincoln County on Tuesday, falling 63-6. Giles County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-6.
Fayetteville's victory bumped their season record to 4-4 while Cascade's defeat dropped theirs to 3-5.
Fayetteville strolled past Giles County when the teams last played two weeks ago by a score of 52-34. Will Fayetteville repeat their success, or does Giles County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
