Softball Recap: Azusa Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arroyo, Azusa was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Edgewood Lions with a sharp 12-5 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Aztecs' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Azusa's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Edgewood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Azusa is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Ontario at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edgewood, they are taking a road trip to take on Sierra Vista at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
