            While San Antonio Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Comfort Bobcats/Deer on Friday as the San Antonio Christian Lions made off with  a  13-3 win. Considering the Lions' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
San Antonio Christian got a  massive  performance out of  Isabella Larson, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Payton Miller, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with four  RBI and two  doubles.
 San Antonio Christian was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .444. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Comfort only posted a  batting average of  .294.
San Antonio Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Comfort,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-8.
 San Antonio Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Incarnate Word at 5:00  p.m.  on March 14th. As for Comfort, they will take on Marion at 2:15  p.m.  on Saturday. Comfort has given up an average of 9.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
