Baseball Game Preview: Webber Tigers vs. Attica Blue Devils

The Webber Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Attica Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Webber will be strutting in after a win while Attica will be coming in after a loss.

It was a proper cat-fight when Webber took on Newfane on Saturday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 11-1 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, Attica came up short against Pembroke on Saturday and fell 13-9. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Blake Donohue led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakk Chaplin, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Attica's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Webber, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
