Basketball Game Preview: Van Bulldogs vs. Man Hillbillies

The Van Bulldogs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Man Hillbillies at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses dating back to last season for Van and three for Man.

Van is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Meadow Bridge on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Van was outmatched by Meadow Bridge and fell 47-7. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-0.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 72-24, which was the final score in Man's tilt against Grace Christian last Tuesday. The Hillbillies were down 57-18 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Man's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Van, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Van was dealt a bruising 46-14 defeat at the hands of Man when the teams last played on December 5th. Can Van avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
