Softball Recap: Irving's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Irving's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 12-7 win over the Roosevelt Educational Roughriders. The high-scoring effort was just what Irving needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The victory snapped Irving's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-6 record. As for Roosevelt Educational, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Irving will take on Health Profession at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roosevelt Educational, they have already played their next matchup, an 8-6 loss against Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus on the 25th.
