Marlboro Central proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 33) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-44 win over the Spackenkill Spartans. The Dukes haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Marlboro Central now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Spackenkill, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-11 record.

Looking ahead, Marlboro Central will square off against Beacon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Beacon will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Marlboro Central surely won't give up without a fight. Spackenkill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
